Crossways Curriculum

Crossways is a curriculum used in all Catholic schools in South Australia to teach and assess Religious Education.

It is based on the scriptures and traditions of the Catholic Church and provides a comprehensive approach to religious education that is tailored to the needs of students from Reception to Year 6.

Crossways offers an effective way to help students develop a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and its teachings and to become more active participants in the life of the church.

The curriculum is divided into six main components:

  • Wisdom
  • God, Us and Faith
  • Sacramentality and Prayer
  • Sacred Texts
  • Church for the World
  • Moral Life.
